Consonants + Vowels = 26 Letters
1945 edition of British author and artist, Grace Gabler's, A Child's Alphabet by Puffin Books. Ok, I admit, I am a sucker for a nice alphabet book. It's interesting that the cover doesn't have the true book title on it. Just the title page. Anyone know what the geometric font on the cover is? My guess it is a modified version of Gill, Johnston Underground or Erbar. I love all the many font styles used on the interior pages. Beautifully printed by W.S. Cowell Printers.
