Postscript: Guinness World Records reported on November 28th, 2010, that T.C. Girivasan has achieved an even faster time of 4.71 seconds to type the alphabet at Pondicherry Beach, India. And the fastest time to type the alphabet with one hand on an iPad belongs to 20 year-old Charlie Joseph McDonnell who performed this in 6.31 seconds on June 27th, 2010 surrounded by dozens of teenage girls on the set of FirstNews in London.
