Print, Press and Page

These three prints are from a children's school primer and were acquired on a recent trip to the Bay Area. They are quite small, each measuring about 3 inches tall and likely from the mid-19th century. I was charmed not only by the subject matter, but by the hand-lettered Bodoni-style captions which the illustrator likely added.
